Netzer - B.Sc. - Mechanical Automotive engineer. G. Krausher - B.Sc. - Electrical engineer. MEIR KENDLER - B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering at the Israeli Technion; MBA at Tel-Aviv university; Experience in general failures mode in varios fields; The manager of the Institute of Failure Analysis. It is 25 years that Mr. Kendler is practicing mechanical damage/failure analysis in all of the industrial and engineering fields (aviation, electrical, transportation, industrial equipment, support equipment, heavy-duty and off-road vehicles) and his experience includes about 5500 analyses in these fields. Mr. kendler's wide professional experience was established during his military service. During that time he has served as an engineer and investigator at the Israeli Air Force failure analysis laboratories, later on was appointed as the laboratories commander; Under his command the laboratories framework became a comprehensive multifield laboratory that performed extensive analysis of engineering problems and meshed into one fabric the analysis focused in the Micro (material/part) together with the wide-span of the Macro (system). This integrated engineering analysis concept is the essence that leads the Institute of Failure Analysis scientific attitude while offering the customers a component characterization of a problem as a part of the full analysis of the examined engineering system. Another concept that was applied within the framework of the Institute of Failure Analysis is the preventive maintenance support to help improve equipment reliability through lubricant testing - this testing consists of the identification and quantifying of wear metals within the lubricant and the evaluating the physical condition (acidity, viscosity, etc. ) of the lubricant. Mr. Kendler lectures at various professional conferences and seminars, publicizes a column in the professional magazine and had published several papers in local professional literature and industrial publications. Personal affiliations include the ASM and the SAE associations. Articles 1.
